Nasugbu is a first class municipality in the province of Batangas and is considered as the largest and one of the oldest towns in the western coast of Batangas. It is a major tourism destination and a favorite leisure and vacation get-away of tourists, international and local, because of its proximity to Manila; Nasugbu is approximately 100 kms, or about 2 hours drive, from the countryโ€™s capital.

It offers a wide range of tourist attractions, be it historical, cultural, man-made, natural or religious sites. Nasugbu was declared as a Special Tourism Zone in 2007 under Executive Order No. 647.

With pride and gratitude, the Municipality of Nasugbu proudly receives this Certificate of Recognition from the Provincial Government of Batangas through the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, ranking 8th among the Top 10 Local Government Units with the Highest Tourist Arrivals during Holy Week 2026.

This achievement reflects the continuous support, hard work, and collaboration of our tourism stakeholders, local businesses, resorts, tour guides, frontliners, and the entire Nasugbueรฑo community in making Nasugbu a safe, welcoming, and memorable destination for every traveler.
