1. Your furrents should first call the customer service before booking online to confirm if the plane on the date of flight intended have ventilation in the cargo area. After booking, call the customer service again to give the details (size) of your Travel Cage which should be leak proof.

2. Make sure to check the dog breeds prohitibed in the cargo area of the plane because unfortunately, not all dog breeds are allowed to fly with PAL.

3. Make sure that your FURrents brought us before our Vets to have pre-departure checkup.

4. Your FURrents should make sure that your anti-rabies vaccine is updated and has not expired yet. If it is expired, make sure to have one at least 14 days before your intended departure. So, make sure that your FURrents keep your vaccine cards.

5. Your FURrents should also acquire a Health Certificate from the Vet. This is important in your application for Travel Permit in Bureau of Animal Industry, Quarantine Division (BAI-QD).

6. The application in BAI-QD should be at least 3 to 5 days before the flight, but not earlier, than 5 days. The health certificate is only valid for 3 days for the purpose of Travel Permit application.

7. The application for Travel Permit may done online at https://nvqsd.bai.gov.ph by registering for One-Time Client Registration. Just follow the instructions which you can download from the site. If you need help, you can send me a DM. We will answers questions for free.

8. Once you have Travel Permit, it is valid only for 7 days from time of issuance. Your FURrents will need to print it.

9. At the airport, your FURrents should drop by Quarantine Division first and ask the officer to check your documents. Dont forget to check if the documents are already stamped before leaving!

10. Make sure to pay fare which is considered as a special cargo.

Please be advised that there's no additional fee/charge when bringing an urn to flight. Note that ashes from cremation in urns transported as hand-carry luggage are allowed provided:
1. Death Certificate (or a true copy thereof, with proper translation, certified by the appropriate authorities from the country of origin.
2. Cremation Certificate (stating that the human remains have been properly cremated and the ashes shall be placed in a hermetically sealed urn or a similar container) that will be required by the Airline, Airport Security, and Customs.
3. CSA shall remind the guest that urns may be carried as hand carry, provided the guest is responsible for its handling and that it is secure in his possession.
https://t.co/3GjFHrxuks some countries, like the USA guest may be required to have the ashes placed in a clear plastic bag (before this is placed in an urn) so that TSA and the screening personnel will be able to examine this through an x-ray machine.
5. Other countries also require a certificate of cremation aside from the Death Certificate (Australia, Korea, and Taiwan).
