Flight Cancellations Due to Runway Closure

We regret to inform all passengers that several flights have been cancelled today due to the temporary closure of the runway caused by an aircraft incident.

A Philippine Airlines aircraft experienced engine trouble and is currently blocking the runway, preventing the arrival and departure of other flights.

Affected Flights:
All inbound and outbound flights scheduled during the runway closure are either cancelled or delayed until further notice.

Recovery operations are underway, and authorities are working diligently to clear the runway and resume normal operations as soon as possible.

Taiwan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Lin Chia-lung has announced the extension of the visa-free entry program for Filipino passport holders until 2026.

The minister made the announcement in his remarks at the Philippine Independence Day reception hosted by the Manila Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei.
