The SSFMPC proudly took part in this year’s annual SUBARAW celebration, a festival deeply rooted in honoring Puerto Princesa’s natural heritage. The name "Subaraw" itself combines suba (river) and taraw (limestone cliff), a fitting tribute to the breathtaking landscapes that make this Protected Area unique. Celebrated each year, SUBARAW commemorates the Puerto Princesa Underground River's (PPUR) recognition as one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature.

Our participation in the Subaraw Biodiversity Festival aligns with our commitment to environmental stewardship. With its rich biodiversity, lush rainforests, clear waters, and unique endemic species, PPUR is a symbol of what can be achieved through dedicated conservation efforts.
