Riyadh Air will operate its inaugural flight to Manila on September 9, 2026, beginning daily service between Manila and Riyadh.

The airline will fly its 290-seat Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, arriving at NAIA T3 at 3:55 PM and departing for Riyadh at 5:25 PM each day.

The new daily service adds another option for passengers traveling between the Philippines and Saudi Arabia, and another international carrier to NAIA’s growing network. Welcome to Manila, Riyadh Air!

𝗗𝗢𝗧 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗮 𝗟𝗔𝗫 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗡𝗟 𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

The Department of Tourism (DOT) welcomes Delta Air Lines’ announcement of a new nonstop service between Los Angeles and Manila, beginning in March 2027 and expanding to daily flights by June.

“𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘴. 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘪𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘭 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰𝘴,” said the Department of Tourism in a statement.

According to the DOT, the goal is to grow the overall market.

Beyond tourism and business exchanges, the new route is expected to make homecomings easier for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and the Filipino-American community, while also opening another gateway for American travelers to explore the Philippines.

The DOT will continue working with international and Philippine carriers to expand connectivity, open new markets, and make it easier for more people to experience the Philippines.

The DOT is also working to curate travel experiences for balikbayans and second- and third-generation Filipino-Americans seeking to reconnect with their heritage.

Travel Advisory: Temporary Traffic Changes at NAIA Terminal 3

We’re upgrading the Terminal 3 departure curbside with a new canopy that will provide passengers with better shelter from rain and heat as they are dropped off and enter the terminal.

To allow the work to proceed safely, temporary traffic changes will be in effect from 15 July to 14 August 2026, daily from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

During these hours, the inner departure lane will be temporarily closed. Passenger drop-offs will continue through the remaining lanes.

If traffic builds up, departing passengers may also be dropped off at Arrival Bays 1 and 8, then use the nearest elevators to reach the check-in counters.

Traffic marshals and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists and passengers. Travelers are advised to allow additional travel time and follow the directions of airport personnel.
