Malugod naming tinatanggap at binabati ang mga delegado ng Man of the World sa kanilang pagdating sa Pilipinas para sa kanilang kompetisyon. Isang espesyal na lei reception ang inihandog ng Department of Tourism – NCR, Tourism Frontline Service Unit bilang simbolo ng kilalang pagkamapagpatuloy, respeto, at pakikipagkaibigan ng mga Pilipino. Sa bawat pagsuot ng lei, ipinadama ang taos-pusong pagtanggap at karangalang maging host ng mga natatanging kinatawan mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng mundo.

Higit pa sa isang tradisyunal na pagbati, ipinagdiriwang ng lei reception ang mga pagpapahalaga ng makabagong pagkalalaki—kumpiyansa, mabuting pagkatao, at pagkakaisa ng mga kalalakihan mula sa iba’t ibang kultura. Naging makahulugang simula ito ng kanilang paglalakbay, na nagsusulong ng pagkakaunawaan, pagkakasundo, at harmonya sa gitna ng pagkakaiba-iba ng mga bansa at kultura. Habang ipinakikita ang init ng pagtanggap ng mga Pilipino, hangad namin ang tagumpay at magandang kapalaran ng lahat ng delegado sa kanilang paglahok sa pandaigdigang entablado.

Air connectivity between the Philippines and China continues to expand as Xiamen Airlines successfully launched its inaugural Chongqing–Manila service on May 21, 2026, arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at 1916H with around 190 passengers onboard.

To mark the occasion, arriving passengers received a warm Filipino welcome through donning of wooden leis and vibrant musical performances by Banda Kawayan Pilipinas, giving travelers a lively and heartfelt first impression of Manila.

The launch of the Chongqing route further enhances tourism and people-to-people connections between the Philippines and China, creating more opportunities for cultural exchange and seamless travel between the two destinations.

The skies between the Philippines and China continue to grow brighter as Xiamen Air officially commenced its inaugural Chongqing–Manila flight last May 21, 2026, arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 at 1916H.

Passengers were warmly welcomed through a festive reception featuring the donning of wooden leis and lively performances by Banda Kawayan Pilipinas, creating a memorable first arrival experience in Manila.

This new route marks another step in strengthening tourism, connectivity, and cultural ties between the two nations by opening more opportunities for travel, exchange, and shared experiences.

Xiamen Airlines continues to strengthen air connectivity between the Philippines and China with the launch of two new direct routes to Manila and increased flight frequencies on existing services beginning May 2026.

The new Hangzhou–Manila route commenced yesterday, 20 May 2026, operating four times weekly every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Meanwhile, the Chongqing–Manila route will launch tonight, 21 May 2026, operating three times weekly every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

With these new services, Xiamen Airlines expanded its China–Philippines operations to a total of 44 weekly round-trip flights, supporting the continued growth of tourism, business opportunities, and cultural exchange between the two countries.

To commemorate the inaugural flight, Banda Kawayan Pilipinas serenaded the inaugural passengers, while a welcome lei reception featuring the donning of wooden leis provided arriving passengers with a warm and memorable Mabuhay experience.

This initiative further highlighted the Philippines’ commitment to strengthening tourism ties with key international markets and promoting the country as a welcoming and world-class travel destination

Qingdao Airlines (QW), a Chinese carrier, officially commenced its inaugural direct flight from Changsha to Manila on 16 May 2026, arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport NAIA Terminal 1 under flight QW965 with 52 passengers onboard.

The launch of this new route marks another significant milestone in the continued strengthening of air connectivity and tourism cooperation between the Philippines and China. This direct connection is expected to further enhance tourism exchanges, business opportunities, and cultural ties between the two countries.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong Province, Qingdao Airlines operates an extensive domestic and international network serving more than 50 destinations. The airline currently connects major cities across China and several destinations in Asia, including Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, and now the Philippines.
