"It was a gloomy Monday night - the night before my 18th birthday. I went to Swivel expecting nothing but having a few bottles with my best buds and joining in on the pusoy dos tournament. The night was going swell and as soon as the clock struck 12, everyone in Swivel and in X278 started to sing a birthday song. It was the loudest and most cheerful birthday song I have ever heard in my life. Everyone was downing bottles and greeting me. I felt all the love in the world at that moment and that night was definitely the best night of my life so far."

"I was a new regular so I didn't know much about the place and about the crowd who go to Swivel. So, I asked Pao & Can about where they got the inspiration to create or open something like Swivel until we started talking about what is the actual factor why people come back to Swivel. The one thing that Can said that made me realize how great of a place it is was that "People don't go here for the place itself, but for the people who go to the place." Good coffee, good merchandise, good drinks won't be good without great company. And from that moment on, I considered Swivel as family."
