UMALI KAYO is the Online Tourist Registration Portal of the Municipality of Sagada.

'Umali kayo' is an expression in the local language that semantically translates to 'Welcome'.

Upon the announcement of reopening of tourism in the Municipality of Sagada, all tourists will need to register in UMALI KAYO and their registration must be approved by the Municipal Tourism Office to be granted entry.

Additional guidelines will be provided upon the official announcement of reopening.

As of this moment Sagada remains CLOSED to tourism. The Registration Portal will be opened once tourism reopens.

A reminder to the general public: Entry of tourists to the Municipality of Sagada is still prohibited 𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐞. Your utmost cooperation is highly appreciated.

Sagada also misses all traveling visitors from all over and as much as we want to see each other and talk over coffee, hold hands navigating the caves, and watch the sunrise and sunset together at the mountain peaks, the health and safety of our community must still be prioritized.

As we work on completing preparations and complying to guidelines issued by our national agencies, for us to open gradually in order to support our stakeholders in the tourism sector, let us extend our understanding and hope that more vaccines arrive to geographically challenged locations such as ours.

𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖: In anticipation of increased travel movement during the upcoming Holy Week, the public is advised that the Municipality of Sagada remains closed to tourism activities.

This will remain in effect until all preparations for gradual reopening have concluded and until the situation resulting from recent surges in the number of COVID-19 positive individuals within the community has been addressed and brought down to a more manageable level.

We are all advised to follow the minimum public health standards, limit our movements, and do our part to .

1. Junct. Talubin-Barlig-Natonin-Paracelis-Calaccad road CLOSED. Balabag bridge IMPASSABLE due to eroded approach at Talubin side.MPP: Andres Pongchachen, 0947 801 4496.
2. Baguio - Bontoc road CLOSED to traffic. a)Restoration of washed out detour road at Nacagang, Sabangan will resume today.
