AN ORDER PROHIBITING SIX-WHEELER AND UP VEHICLES FROM PASSING THROUGH BARANGAY ROADS DURING THE FIESTA CELEBRATION FROM JUNE 9 TO JUNE 10, 2026
WHEREAS, the annual fiesta celebration of Barangay Lamac is scheduled from June 9 to June 10, 2026, and is expected to draw a large number of residents and visitors;
WHEREAS, the barangay roads are narrow and may not be able to accommodate large vehicles such as six-wheeler and up trucks during the peak of community activities, posing risks to public safety and causing unnecessary congestion;
WHEREAS, the safety and convenience of the general public must be prioritized during the celebration;
NOW, THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, the Barangay Council of Barangay Lamac hereby issues the following order:
SECTION 1. Prohibition – All six-wheeler and up vehicles are hereby prohibited from passing through any barangay roads in Barangay Lamac from 6:00 AM on June 9, 2026, until 11:59 PM on June 10, 2026.
SECTION 2. Exceptions – This prohibition shall not apply to emergency vehicles (such as ambulances, fire trucks, and police vehicles) or vehicles with special clearance from the Barangay Council.
SECTION 3. Enforcement – The Barangay Tanods and other designated enforcement personnel shall ensure the strict implementation of this order.
SECTION 4. Penalty – Any violation of this order may result in the issuance of a citation and other appropriate sanctions as provided under existing barangay ordinances or municipal regulations.
SECTION 5. Effectivity – This order shall take effect immediately upon approval and shall remain in force during the aforementioned period.
