Cancelled Flights Due to Typhoon Carina
As of July 24, 2024; 12:00 PM

Due to the impact of Typhoon Carina (International Name: Gaemi) on our operations, Cebu Pacific advises its passengers to expect cancellations and flight delays throughout the day.

The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4, where our Cebgo (DG) flights operate, is closed and inaccessible due to flooding. All arriving DG flights will be diverted to NAIA Terminal 3.

Passengers affected by cancelled flights are also advised not to proceed to the airport for their safety and to avoid getting stuck on flooded roads.

3. Refund

Full refund of your ticket.

CEB is also offering flexible options, which include free rebooking and travel fund, to passengers who wish to postpone their flights to and from Manila and Clark scheduled up to July 26, 2024.

BI DEPLOYS PERSONNEL FOR CEBU CONNECT AT MCIA

CEBU CITY, Philippines – The Bureau of Immigration (BI), announced the deployment of new machinery, personnel, and resources to support the Cebu Connect initiative at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA).

In partnership with the Aboitiz GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation (AGMCAC), the BI deployed its personnel to help transform MCIA into a major transit hub in Southeast Asia.

The Cebu Connect project, unveiled on June 19, aims to enhance the airport's transfer service system, making connections more efficient and seamless for passengers.

This initiative is part of a larger vision to position Cebu as an ideal entry point for both domestic and international travelers.

BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, "The BI is committed to supporting Cebu Connect by providing advanced resources and skilled personnel. This partnership will significantly improve passenger processing times and enhance overall airport security."

As part of the Cebu Connect initiative, a new section of the MCIA's terminal has been opened to provide expedited immigration services for transiting passengers.

"We are proud to contribute to the development of MCIA as a leading transit hub," said Tansingco. "Our efforts are aligned with the airport authorities' goals of reducing layover times and offering a seamless travel experience. This partnership underscores our dedication to improving public service and national security."

MCIA traffic data shows a significant increase in passenger numbers, indicating robust growth in both domestic and international travel.

The collaboration between the BI and AGMCAC marks a significant milestone in Cebu's journey to becoming a premier transit hub in the region, boosting tourism and economic growth. #
