The Municipal Tourism Office, led by Municipal Tourism Officer Ms. Noradel C. Martinez, facilitated the Joint 2nd Quarterly Meeting of the Municipal Tourism Council, Municipal Council for Culture and the Arts, and Bega Administration Committee on July 4, 2025, at the Municipal Tourism Hall in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

The meeting was presided over by Municipal Administrator, Ma’am Richel B. Tumulak.

The Provincial Tourism Office of Agusan del Sur is inviting interested individuals, families, or communities to register as Homestay Hosts in preparation for upcoming tourism activities and major events, including the Palarong Pambansa 2026.

A homestay is an alternative accommodation that provides visitors with a unique, immersive experience by staying in a local household, allowing them to engage with the culture, traditions, and everyday life of the host community.

🔍 𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲?
✅ Residents with available, clean, and safe rooms
✅ Willingness to host local or foreign tourists
✅ Commitment to hospitality and basic customer service
✅ Located in strategic tourism areas or event-hosting municipalities
