This March 25โ27, the Palawan Tourism Council is actively participating in a high-impact training on Sustainable Tourism, Heritage Mapping, and Ecotourism Enterprise Development in a Tourism Product Development Workshop. Representing our council are Mr. Martin Aguilar, Chair for Product Development, and Mr. Alvin Tan, Chair for Special Projects; both committed to ensuring that Palawanโs tourism growth remains responsible, inclusive, and world-class.
The threeโday program (March 25โ27) dives deep into essential frameworks like BASSEFACT, productโmarket fit, inclusive costing, and destination managementโtools that will directly shape how we develop and promote our island province. From case studies on Sagada and Sagay City to handsโon product presentations, every session is designed to translate learning into actionable strategies for our local tourism stakeholders.
The Palawan Tourism Council fully supports initiatives that empower our officers, members, and partner communities. By investing in continuous capacity building, we are not just preserving our โBest Island in the Worldโ titleโwe are building a more sustainable and resilient tourism industry that benefits every Palaweรฑo.
Kudos to our representatives for their active participation, and to the Provincial Tourism Promotions and Development Office and the resource speakers for organizing this timely learning opportunity.
Together, we move forward. Together, we sustain Palawan. ๐๐
