CAAP reports flight disruptions due to habagat

Pasay City – The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reports several flight disruptions as of 5:00 AM today, July 23, 2025, due to adverse weather conditions brought about by the southwest monsoon or habagat.

A total of 50 flights have been cancelled by various airlines.

The Department of Tourism MIMAROPA urges all stakeholders and tourists to prioritize safety in light of the impending Tropical Storm Crising.

As of 8:00 AM, July 19, 2025, PAGASA reported that the Southwest Monsoon will bring strong to gale-force in some parts of Luzon including the MIMAROPA Region. Please take precautionary measures.

Stranded tourists may coordinate with local tourism offices or your transportation providers for assistance and rebooking of flight and ferry schedules.

Tourism enterprises like accommodations, tourism transport services and tour operators are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards and provide extended assistance to stranded tourists and guests.
