the First Tour Guide Seminar in Palawan was held at Rafols Hyatt Palawan in Puerto Princesa City. This pioneering training program helped lay the foundation for the professional tour guiding industry in the province at a time when tourism in Palawan was still in its early stages.

Special recognition is given to the seminar participants and tourism pioneers, including Elizabeth Taylor Bachmann, Annabelle Cabrestante, Mina Tesorio, and Fred Orge, whose dedication helped shape the standards of tour guiding in Palawan.
