​PPTOA members attended the Accreditation Orientation, Monitoring, and Database Management session at the PPUR Conference Hall.

PPTOA Marks a Decade of Standing Together,Moving As One:

​The Puerto Princesa Tour Operators Association (PPTOA) officially marked its 10th anniversary milestone last May 16, 2026, at the BW Plus The Ivywall Hotel. Centered around the theme "Standing Together, Moving As One," the grand celebration brought together members, leaders, and partners to look back at ten years of unity, resilience, and dedicated service toward elevating tourism standards in Puerto Princesa.

​The main highlight of the anniversary celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the pioneers who built the very foundation of the organization. PPTOA proudly recognized its Founding Members and Pioneers: Ms. Michelle Tiotangco (Not Present),Mr. Rene Abueg, Ms.Farah Marie Torres, Mr. Teodoro Eugenio F. Peña Jr (Not present), Ms. Rhodora May C. Libiran, Ms. Nellie Joy C. Silverio(Not Present), and Margarette S. Lumauag (Not Present).

In a deeply moving moment, a Posthumous Award was presented to Col. Pacifico Lumauag Jr., honoring his enduring legacy and lifetime contributions to the local community and tourism sector.

​The prestigious evening was also highlighted by our distinguished Guests of Honor: Mr. Roberto P. Alabado III, (Regional Director, DOT MIMAROPA) and Mr. Donald Keith Bognoson (Then-President, City Tourism Council). On behalf of the entire association, the PPTOA extends its deepest gratitude and utmost appreciation to them for gracing the milestone celebration, and for their continuous guidance and support.

This momentous celebration was made possible through the generous support of our corporate partners and the exceptional talents of our local suppliers.
