HOLLYWOOD ACTRESS DAISY RIDLEY SHARES HER EXPERIENCE SHOOTING IN PALAWAN

Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley is currently in the Philippines filming the Hollywood movie The Last Resort, and she’s fully embracing the beauty of Palawan! Taking to Instagram, Daisy shared stunning photos of her tropical work setup, including scenic shots and behind-the-scenes glimpses from the set.

In her caption, she writes: "The Philippines so far feat. paradise, monitor lizards, commuting to work by boat, sunsets and beautiful views everywhere you look. 2 weeks into The Last Resort!!!"

From boat rides to awe-inspiring sunsets, Ridley is clearly soaking in the natural beauty and wildlife of one of the Philippines' most iconic destinations. Our Story

The Palawan Explorer is named after Ryan who is a beach lover and grew up in Manila, the biggest city and the capital of the Philippines. He fell in love with the Palawan, spending most of his time at the beach and later on decided to stay for good and spend most of his days exploring the island. Thus coined “The Palawan Explorer”

In his numerous adventures in exploring different places in Palawan, meeting a number of tourists and making new friends, he often ends up randomly helping backpackers and tourists that he just met with information on what to see, where to go and how to do so. Since his family owns a local accommodation in Puerto Princesa and with all his adventures, knowledge and experiences, in 2014 he established The Palawan Explorer and created a page that organizes tours and renders affordable tour packages for tourists. His group not only provides reasonable prices but also delivers quality service and tours well organized by his affiliated partners. In 2018, he put up this page and went global to accommodate and provide services to even people around the world.

The Palawan Explorer’s main goal is to give you a hassle-free experience in organizing your entire stay in Palawan and provide you with tours and arrangements that are best suitable for you and your exploring needs in this amazing island you cannot afford not visiting in this lifetime.
