Planning your island escape to El Nido? Here are a few important travel tips to make your trip smooth, safe, and stress-free:

✅ Secure early reservations– -From flights to accommodation to activities, it is best to book everything in advance as places and transportation can be fully booked due to the peak season.
✅ Book island tours in advance – As El Nido observes carrying capacities in the Big and Small Lagoons, the number of tourists in these areas is limited daily to avoid heavy traffic. To secure slots in these famous spots, book your tours in advance.
✅ Insist on DOT-Accredited & Mayor’s Permit holders– Avoid the hassle and the stress!
Only patronize legally operating businesses with Mayor's Permits/ DOT accreditation and those who issue official receipts.
Stay away from businesses with promises of discounts that are too good to be true, because they likely are not.
✅ Do your research– For verified information, visit or message the El Nido Municipal Tourism Office.
