Reminder: Prohibited use of fake IDs upon check in
Attention: ALL PAL Passengers

We have recently observed a rise in attempts to present fake IDs at airport check-in counters. Please be reminded that such acts are serious offenses and will not be tolerated.

Passengers are reminded that presenting fraudulent, tampered, or falsified IDs during check-in or boarding is strictly prohibited and will be dealt with accordingly.

Individuals using fake IDs will not be allowed to check in and/or board a flight. Instead, they will immediately be handed over to law enforcement authorities for criminal investigation and prosecution under applicable laws.

To avoid any inconvenience, all passengers are strongly urged to carry only valid government-issued IDs.

It has come to our attention the recent reports about the Punit Passport Modus happening at our airports. Here are some tips that we can follow in order to prevent this from happening
• Check your passport at all times.
• Take a photo of your passport before you go to TIEZA, check-in counters, immigration, and boarding gate. Make sure all pages are intact. No watermarks, tears or blemishes especially at the bio page.
• When handing over your passport, please make sure to WATCH CLOSELY the person who has your passport. Your passport should NEVER leave your sight.
• (Optional) Before handing in your passport, you can also say "Ma'am/Sir, I am handing you my passport in good condition. No tears or any form of deformity."
If in case something bad still happened to your passport, reminder to please STAY CALM and RESPECTFUL. Handle the situation as smoothly as possible. Ask for a supervisor or a higher official representative and come-up with a positive resolution. Do not threaten or try to bribe anyone as this may backfire at you. Do not trust anyone who says they can fix it for you unless that person is an authorized or official representative of NAIA or Immigration.
