KOREAN EMBASSY MEMO: Pull-out of passports NOT allowed from April 1, 2019.

Please be reminded that from April 1, processing period of temporary visitor's visa will be 10-14 working days.

In line with this, the Embassy will no longer allow pulling out of passports or documents once the application is received, regardless of the reason.

Please make sure to confirm with the applicants that they will not be needing their passports until the release of their Korean visa. You may request the applicants to sign waivers if you prefer to do so.

Also, once application is received by the Embassy, regular application may not be changed to express processing.

Please make sure to confirm with the applicants whether they need to avail of the express visa processing before submitting the application at the Embassy.
