TRAVEL ADVISORY ON UNIFORM TRAVEL PROTOCOLS FOR LGU

The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), under Resolution No. 101, approved the uniform travel protocols for all local government units (LGUs):

1. Travelers shall no longer be required to undergo COVID-19 testing except if the local government unit (LGU) of destination will make testing a requirement before travel (limited to RT-PCR test.)

2. Travelers shall no longer undergo quarantine unless they exhibit symptoms upon arrival at the LGU of destination.

3. Travelers are still expected for strict compliance with minimum public health standards.

4. Clinical and exposure assessment shall be strictly implemented in all ports of entry and exit.

5. Travel authority issued by the Joint Task Force COVID Shield and health certificates shall no longer be required.

6. Authorized persons outside of residence (APORS) from national government agencies and their attached agencies must provide their identification card, travel order, and travel itinerary and pass symptom-screening at the ports of entry and exit.

7. The StaySafe.ph System shall be utilized as the primary contact tracing system.

ALL restrictions on non-essential outbound travel by Filipinos have been lifted by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF), Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

Under IATF’s Resolution no. 52, the non-essential outbound travel by Filipinos shall be subject to the following conditions:

▪️Submission of confirmed roundtrip tickets for those traveling on tourist visas;
▪️Adequate travel health insurance to cover rebooking and accommodation expenses;
▪️Allowed entry by the destination country in accordance with travel, health and quarantine restrictions;
▪️Execution of a Declaration acknowledging the risk of the travel; and
▪️Upon return, shall follow the guidelines of returning overseas Filipinos of the National Task Force.
