LOOK:
An Inter-Agency Task Force mobilized by the DOTr completed a visual check inspection of MRT-3 facilities to ensure the system's reliability, September 8.

The task force, led by OTS Usec. Mao Aplasca, DOTr Usec. for Railways Cesar Chavez, DICT Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center Usec. Alex Ramos, and QCPD Dir. Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan jointly conducted the inspection to assess and ensure the safety and security of the MRT-3 system for its continued operation.

This, after the MRT-3 received an alleged bomb threat via email early this morning.

The task force assured the public that all actions are being taken to ensure safe and secure travel in all public transport systems.

It also appealed to netizens to refrain from circulating and sharing unverified information so as not to cause undue panic.

Base sa Memorandum Circular No. 10-A series of 2022 na alinsunod sa DepEd Order No. 037 series of 2022, ang pagsususpinde ng mga klase para sa mga PRIBADONG PAARALAN ay nasa pagpapasya ng paaralan / Pinuno ng Paaralan ngunit hinihikayat na sundin ang mga pambansa o lokal na suspensyon.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na mag-ingat at manatili sa inyong tahanan kung kinakailangan para sa inyong kaligtasan.

☝ONLY NEW REQUESTS ARE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED AS CITY PREPARES TO LIMIT APPROVALS TO 4,000 EFFECTIVE JAN. 6

Jan. 3, 2022 - Mayor Benjamin Magalong has said the city will continue admitting tourists with prior bookings and that only new travel requests were temporarily suspended to prepare for gradual reduction of new tourist registrations by Jan. 6.

"Tourists with confirmed registrations can proceed with their travel plans while new requests were temporarily held in abeyance as we prepare to reduce the daily limit for registration to 4,000 with allowed accommodation guest occupancy of up to 70 percent due to the threat of the omicron variant," the mayor said.

The mayor said the city decided to temporarily suspend new registrations to prepare for gradual reduction in application approvals in a bid to minimize risk of transmission from interzonal and intrazonal travel after alert levels were raised in other localities.

"The temporary suspensions were for new applications only. All other travel plans approved prior to the suspension shall be allowed so as not to unduly prejudice travelers and establishments on preparations that have already been made," the mayor said.

"We are actively aligning proactive plans across all affected sectors so that travel can still take place in a safe environment with minimized risk."

The limit in tourist arrival will form part of the provisions of an executive order which the mayor will issue tomorrow to supplement the city's quarantine protocols in anticipation of the omicron-driven surge in Coronavirus disease cases.

Ipinapaalam po sa lahat ng ngkaroon ng malaking pagguho ng lupa humigit kumulang alas 3:00 ng madaling araw ng Disyembre 25, 2021 sa bahagi ng sa sitio ubak Barangay San Rafael , Sta.Magdalena , Sorsogon. Ang kapulisan ng Sta.Magdalena sa pamumuno ni PLT EDWIN L DELA FUENTE, OIC kasama ang ating mahal n Mayor Ramon R Espela ay pumunta upang usisain at alamin ang nasabing pangyayari. Nakipag ugnayan na din ang LGU Sta.Magdalena sa Opisina ng PEO (Provincial Engineering Office) Sorsogon para sa mga heavy equipment at man power na kinakailangan para sa madaliang pagtanggal ng gumuhong malaking lupa sa daanan. Sa ngaun ay wala naman naiuulat na nasaktan sa nasabing insidente. Sa ngaun ang nasabing daanan galing bayan ng Sta.Magdalena patungu sa Bayan ng Bulusan ay pansamantalang hindi p magagamit.
