Long before the trip even began, we had already committed that 𝟭𝟬𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆. As our final mission, we stood in solidarity with the Katipunan jeepney drivers—listening to their stories, learning more about the realities they continue to face, and reminding them that they are not alone.
Together with our partners —𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀, in coordination with the 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, we shared food packs, groceries, offered prayers, and spent time in meaningful conversations with the drivers as they navigate this challenging chapter.
To everyone who joined the Alabanwa Tri-City Bicol journey, supported our mission, and believed in our purpose——𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪. Your trust became hope for others, and your journey became an act of solidarity.
As we close this chapter, we carry with us a simple reminder:
