Narito ang mga hakbang upang magrehistro ng SIM card:

1. Ihanda ang telepono at ilagay ang mobile number sa website o aplikasyon para sa rehistrasyon.

2. Mag-aabang ng One Time Pin (OTP) text message na matatanggap sa mobile phone.

3. Ilagay ang OTP sa website o aplikasyon para ma-validate ang registration.

4. Pagkatapos, makakatanggap ng reference number upang magpahiwatig na natapos na ang rehistrasyon.

Kung hindi ma-rehistro ang SIM card bago ang deadline na ika-26 ng Abril 2023, magreresulta ito sa pagkakade-activate ng SIM card. Mahalagang tandaan na bawal magbigay ng maling impormasyon o dokumento para magrehistro ng SIM card, dahil may kaakibat na parusa na naglalaro sa anim na buwan hanggang dalawang taon na pagkakakulong at multa na nagkakahalaga ng P100,000 hanggang P300,000.

Sa ngayon, mahigit sa 62 milyon na ang rehistradong SIM card sa bansa, na humigit-kumulang sa 36.79% ng kabuuang naibenta. Ang mga kumpanya ng telekomunikasyon tulad ng Dito Telecommunity, Globe Telecom, at Smart Communications ay nag-aayos na sa posibilidad ng mga subscriber na magmamadali para magrehistro sa Abril 26, 2023.
