Please be advised that several tours and water activities across Romblon have been temporarily paused from May 29–31, 2026 due to unusual marine conditions currently affecting various areas within the province.

Reports of microscopic marine organisms and jellyfish larvae in the water have caused skin irritation and discomfort among some swimmers and freedivers. In consideration of guest safety and overall travel experience, affected tour operators have decided to temporarily reschedule activities during this period, especially with the expected stormy weather over the weekend.

Visitors with existing bookings are encouraged to coordinate directly with their respective tour providers regarding rescheduling and alternative arrangements.

The safety, comfort, and well-being of all guests remain a top priority as we continue to monitor sea conditions across the province.

Because we are committed to the satisfaction and safety of our guests, we have unfortunately decided to reschedule all tours and events for the next three days.

The province of Romblon is seeing an unusual outbreak of microscopic marine organisms and jellyfish larvae in the water. Many swimmers and freedivers have been experiencing uncomfortable, itchy rash lasting for several days. We would rather postpone tours than to risk a guest having a bad experience with us due to the conditions of the sea, and the stormy weather predicted for this weekend.

Locals have complained about this unusual ocean occurrence across multiple locations in the entire province, not just on Romblon Island.

Furthermore, we are unable to predict or assume if any of our guests might develop a serious reaction to these rare microorganisms. It's not a risk we are willing to take.

We understand that this may be disappointing for those with upcoming reservations, but we believe it's the right decision and one that reflects our commitment to providing the best possible experience in the waters of Romblon. We've reached out to our booked guests to offer alternative solutions, including a day of socializing in a dry, protected area safe from the rainy weather. 😊

𝗘𝗶𝗱'𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗵𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗸!

Ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Romblon, sa pamumuno ni Gov. Trina Firmalo-Fabic, ay kaisa ng ating mga kapatid na Muslim sa mataimtim na paggunita ng Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

Ang Eid al-Adha ay nagpapakita ng kahalagahan ng pananampalataya, debosyon, at tapat na pagsasakripisyo. Ito ay isang magandang paalala sa buong komunidad tungkol sa kahalagahan ng pagiging bukas-palad, pagtutulungan, at walang pag-iimbot na paglilingkod sa kapwa.

Nawa’y ang sagradong okasyong ito ay magdala ng kapayapaan, pagkakaisa, at pagpapala sa bawat tahanan sa ating lalawigan.

In celebration of National Heritage Month 2026, the Provincial Government of Romblon through the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office joins the nation in honoring the country’s rich cultural legacy, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 439.

Anchored on this year’s theme, “Roots and Horizons: Our Shared Heritage, Our Collective Future,” the Province of Romblon recognizes the importance of preserving and promoting the traditions, history, languages, artistry, and identity that define the Romblomanons. As we reflect on our roots, we also continue to move forward in building a future grounded in cultural pride, shared memory, and collective heritage.

𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗞𝗮𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗼𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗸𝗹𝗮𝗻.

Last April 28, we joined the Provinces of AKLAN and Capiz for the 2026 Kapusod Imaw Cultural Exchange (Aklan Leg) held at the Aklan Provincial Capitol in Kalibo, Aklan, as part of the celebration of Aklan’s 70th Founding Anniversary.

More than a cultural gathering, Kapusod Imaw continues to reconnect our three provinces through a shared history that binds Aklan, Capiz, and Romblon together. Through music, dance, poetry, and stories, the event celebrated traditions and identities passed on through generations, reminding us that despite being separated by seas, we remain connected by heritage and kinship.

𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛: 𝗜𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁, 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀.

A week ago, we joined Capiz and AKLAN at the Kapusod Imaw Cultural Exchange in Roxas City.

Bringing together provinces with shared roots, the exchange was a way to highlight our culture through music, dance, and storytelling, while strengthening connections that continue to shape our destinations today.

As we move forward, these shared ties open more opportunities to grow and promote our islands together.

Isang malaking karangalan para sa lalawigan ng Romblon ang pagpili sa ating probinsya bilang pangunahing lokasyon para sa pelikulang "18th Rose," na pinagbibidahan ng sikat na tambalang Xyriel Manabat at Kyle Echarri.

Sa ilalim ng direksyon ni Dolly Dulu, ipinakikita sa pelikula ang mga nakamamanghang tanawin na tanging sa Romblon lamang makikita. Ang pakikipagtulungan ng produksyon sa lokal na pamahalaan ay naging mas espesyal dahil ang mismong Head ng Romblon Provincial Information Office (RPIO) na si Mr. John Aries Caringal Bejer ang nagsilbi bilang Location Manager, na tumulong upang mailahad ang pinakamagagandang anggulo ng ating probinsya.

Ayon kay Direk Dolly, layon nitong i-promote ang Romblon hindi lamang bilang "Marble Capital" kundi bilang isang premier destination para sa filmmaking sa bansa.

Hinihikayat ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Romblon ang lahat ng mga Romblomanon na i-stream ang pelikula at ipakita ang ating suporta sa social media. Gamitin ang ating official hashtags para mas lalong makilala ang ating probinsya sa buong mundo!
