The Municipality of Sablayan, through the Municipal Tourism Office, is inviting all Overseas Sablayeños to be part of the Balik Sablayan Program by updating our official registry of Sablayeños residing outside the municipality.

This initiative is in preparation for the 125th Founding Anniversary Celebration of Sablayan this December 2026 – January 2027, ensuring that our fellow Sablayeños abroad can stay connected and be part of this historic milestone.

Today, July 22, 2026, the personnel of the Office of the Municipal Tourism, Culture and Arts actively participated in the Municipal Coastal Clean-Up Program spearheaded by the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO).

The activity commenced with a short program at the Sablayan Port, bringing together participating offices and organizations before the deployment to their respective assigned areas.

As part of the collective effort, the Municipal Tourism, Culture and Arts Office was assigned to conduct the coastal clean-up from Feliz del Mar Beach Resort to Busaran Bridge, working hand in hand to help preserve the cleanliness and natural beauty of Sablayan's coastline.

Clean beaches are vital to sustainable tourism, environmental conservation, and the well-being of our communities. Through initiatives like this, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting the natural resources that make Sablayan a destination worth experiencing and preserving.

Together, let us continue to practice environmental stewardship—because every piece of litter collected is a step toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable Sablayan.
