IMPORTANT VISA UPDATE from the JAPAN EMBASSY in the Philippines

Due to the surge in tourist visa applications, processing times have been extended up to 3 weeks or longer. Starting January 20, 2025, the embassy will limit the acceptance of Tourist Visa applications.

Plan ahead to avoid delays. Submit your visa applications at least 2 months before your intended trip. Rush processing is not available.

Please note that this new guidelines does not affect other visa types.
