A notice came from the MIAA, which said it would close the Philippine airspace on May 17 from 12 a.m. to 6 a.m. to replace the UPS system that had failed in January. As a result, all domestic and international airline firms are currently modifying or readjusting their flight itineraries to minimize inconvenience to the passengers.

Related to the above, please anticipate the airline's notice of flight disruption or changes.

For PAL issued tickets, kindly modify or update your contact details directly to the airline's website to ensure that you receive their notice in a timely manner.

GOV ANNOUNCES END OF RESTRICTIONS TO ENTER MACAU🇲🇴

The authorities have just announced that starting on January 8 (Sunday) practically all preventive measures against Covid-19 will be cancelled.

ALL people from ALL nationalities and ALL passports will be allowed to enter Macau.

Those coming from TAIWAN, HONG KONG or the mainland, DO NOT NEED a Covid-19 test to enter Macau.

Those coming from all remaining (foreign) countries need to show a negative PCR test OR rapid antigen test (RAT) done in the 48 hours prior to enter Macau.

Those coming from foreign countries, Taiwan or Hong Kong who wish to ENTER mainland China the FIRST SEVEN DAYS of arrival also NEED a PCR test done in the past 48 hours.

No quarantines apply to those entering Macau.

No yellow codes apply to those entering Macau.

Ferry connections between Taipa Ferry Terminal and the city of Hong Kong (Sheung Wan) will resume gradually. Starting Sunday, the 8th of January, the first ferry departures at 9am and the last one at 5:30pm.

❗SUMMARY OF NEW ARRANGEMENTS FOR ENTRY INTO HONG KONG - 14 December 2022❗

What has changed?

a) There will be no Amber code restrictions effective 14 December 2022. This means that anyone arriving from abroad will be able to enter all premises within Hong Kong, including restaurants, pubs and clubs, gyms, fitness centres.

What has not changed?

a) Testing requirements for overseas arrivals have not changed. This means that people aged 3 or above arriving from abroad will need to do -
1) A self administered or supervised Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) within 24 hours of their departure.
2) A PCR test, which will be conducted on arrival. You will not need to wait for your result
3) RAT tests on Days 1 to 5
4) A PCR test, which will be conducted on
Day 2, will be required. The test can be conducted at a Community Testing Centre/Station or at a recognised private laboratory

b) Vaccination requirements for non-residents to enter Hong Kong remains the same. This means that adults aged 17 or above will need to have had 2 doses of a COVID vaccine and children aged 12 to 17 will need to have had one dose before they are able to enter Hong Kong.

c) Vaccination requirements for residents and non-residents who have arrived from overseas to enter premises within Hong Kong remains the same. This means everyone aged 12 or above will need to have had 2 doses of a COVID vaccine before they are able to enter premises within Hong Kong. Children aged 11 or below will not need to be vaccinated to gain entry into premises within Hong Kong.

d) Everyone will still need to complete the Health Declaration Form before you check in for your flight.

e) Isolation requirements should you test positive have not changed. This means that people who tests positive will need to isolate for 5 days.
