2nd Day | Promoting Local Culture Through Tourism ๐ฟ
The City Tourism Office of San Jose City, Nueva Ecija has successfully concluded its participation in the two-day capacity-building seminar titled โPromoting Local Culture Through Tourism: Tour Packaging and Professional Tour Guiding,โ held on September 14โ15, 2026, at the DHTM Lounge, Central Luzon State University (CLSU), Science City of Muรฑoz.
The program strengthened local expertise in tour development, heritage promotion, and professional tour guiding to further enhance tourism experiences in San Jose City.
The initiative was spearheaded by Project Leader Assoc. Prof. Rachelle A. Soriano, together with Project Staff Asst. Prof. Rovilyn D. Eugenio, Dr. Elia Joy S. Villacorta, Dr. Kristelle S. Lamson, and Ms. Alleyah Abigail M. Reyes. We also thank Resource Persons Ms. Merielyn G. Gantioque and Ms. Flordelyn M. Somera for sharing their valuable knowledge and expertise.
Special appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Celeste D. Dela Cruz, Chair of Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management (DHTM), and Dr. Celyrah B. Castillo, Dean of College of Home Science and Industry (CHSI), for their leadership and support in making this initiative possible.
