The World Surf League (WSL) will officially run the World Junior Championships and the Longboard Tour qualifying window this January 10–26, 2026, in San Juan, La Union.

The World Junior Championships are set for January 10–18, 2026, immediately followed by the Longboard Tour from January 20–26. The event is expected to draw a number of international competitors vying for ranking points to enter the elite World Tour.

The 2026 edition features an anticipated battle between international delegations and San Juan, La Union surfers.

Whether you are a local cheering for the San Juan squad or a surf fan following the international elite, this is history in the making.
