La Union hosted its inaugural Elyu Agkaysa (United La Union) Archery Cup 2026 at the archery range in Bacnotan town, attracting around 300 participants from northern Luzon.

The three-day tournament, held from January 9 to 11, aimed to promote youth engagement, strengthen grassroots sports programs, and provide opportunities for emerging athletes in the province.
