✨LOOK: As part of NU Fairview's culminating activity, on June 11, 2025, they will be dropping Artificial Coral Reefs on a determined suitable location that can boost fish populations by providing additional habitat and safe spaces for breeding and feeding. This can lead to increased fish stocks, supporting sustainable recreational and commercial fisheries in the community. By concentrating fish in specific areas, they can also reduce fishing pressure on natural reefs; alongside this, they will also conduct a coastal clean-up activity.
This will be a joint initiative and participation between the Local Government, specifically the Agritourism Office; the tourism economic sector through the special participation of Starboard Diving & Resort, and NU Fairview Community Extension Office.
