According to the 2025 Distribution of Region 1 Travellers Overnight Guest Arrivals by the Department of Tourism Region 1, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte proudly ranks among the Top 10 Destinations in Region 1.

Despite being the second smallest municipality in the province in terms of land area, San Nicolas stands tall as the commercial center of Ilocos Norte — proving that greatness is not measured by size, but by impact.
