Additional Cancelled Flights Due to Mindanao Earthquake
As of June 10, 2026; 5:00 PM

Due to the continuous impact of the Magnitude 7.8 earthquake that hit off the coast of Mindanao on flight operations, Cebu Pacific (CEB) has cancelled additional flights scheduled for June 11, 2026:

5J 251/252: Cebu – General Santos – Cebu
5J 991/992: Manila – General Santos – Manila
5J 993/994: Manila – General Santos – Manila
5J 995/996: Manila – General Santos – Manila
5J 997/998: Manila – General Santos – Manila

Affected passengers have been informed via email and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website https://www.cebupacificair.com/manage-booking:

1. Free Rebooking

Rebook without fare difference for travel up to thirty (30) days from original flight date. The fare difference will apply if the travel period is beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date.

2. Travel Fund

Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)

3. Refund

Full refund of your ticket.

As this is a developing situation, some flight changes may continue to take place. Passengers are advised to check the status of their flights via https://www.cebupacificair.com/flight-status and update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive email notifications on flight reminders and updates.

For other questions or concerns, passengers may send a message via Online Chat Support on the official CEB website, or through CEB’s official Facebook and X accounts.

We appeal for your patience and understanding as we work towards normalizing our operations as soon as possible.

In order to enhance convenience for visa applicants and promote visits to Korea, the required supporting documents for visa applications will be revised as follows, effective February 20, 2026.

• For all types of required documents, the submission of “three (3) months of bank statements” will be waived.

• For student applicants, the proof of student status requirement will be changed from “Original School Certificate and copy of Student ID” to “either the original School Certificate or a copy of the Student ID” (the applicant may choose and submit one).

• In cases with multiple applicants, common documents (e.g., invitation letter, family relationship documents, company-related documents, etc.) should be submitted in one (1) copy only and attached to the representative applicant’s file.

• For employment-related documents, the submission of an explanation letter will be waived in cases where there is no landline number indicated, or when it is issued with an electronic signature. As long as other reachable contact information (email address or mobile phone number) is provided, the document will be accepted.

Cancelled Flights Due to Airbus Software Update
As of November 29, 2025; 8:00 AM

Cebu Pacific (CEB) has announced flight cancellations following a notice from Airbus requiring a mandatory software update for A320/A321 aircraft.

Our operations and engineering teams are working diligently to complete the updates as quickly and efficiently as possible. We have also deployed additional airport staff to assist passengers and hope to normalize operations soon.

Status of Flights to and from Dubai
As of June 24, 2025; 12:00 PM

Cebu Pacific (CEB) advises its passengers that all flights to and from Dubai will continue to operate as scheduled. Our route does not fly over conflict-affected areas in the Middle East, allowing us to operate safely. We continue to actively monitor the situation and will share further updates as necessary.

However, for passengers traveling to and from Dubai who wish to reschedule their flights, CEB is offering flexible options—including free rebooking and Travel Fund conversion—for passengers booked on Dubai flights scheduled today, June 24, 2025. These options are available online up to two (2) hours before the scheduled departure time.

We encourage passengers to regularly check their flight status at cebupacificair.com/flight-status and to update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive timely flight notifications.
