Many of our guests ask about the story behind PaSeafic (pronounced Pacific). It also r
eflects my own identity as a Pacific Islander, shaped by coastal ancestry and a lifelong bond with the ocean. We are united by a shared love for the sea. Patrick is drawn to its vastness and its shakti (शक्ति)—an enduring symbolism of courage, movement, and resilience that we strive to embody in everything we do.
“Seafic” honors my beginnings in the coastal lands of Surigao. Facing the great Pacific Ocean shaped not only my childhood but my character. Growing up by the sea made me a voyager at heart—a natural risk-taker, unapologetically resilient, and unafraid to stand firm. These qualities continue to guide our vision for this retreat.
