Today marks the end of Phase 3 of our Cadet Attachment Program, and I couldn’t be prouder as we celebrate our cadets’ achievements! The Case-based Scenario training has given us the tools to face real-life challenges, and we're excited to put these lessons into practice as future police officers.

Throughout this program, we've gained valuable experience in critical thinking, problem-solving, and clear communication. We’ve learned to work together smoothly as a team, think quickly, and make well-informed decisions under pressure.

As we move forward, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and compassion. We’re ready to serve our communities with dedication, empathy, and courage.

On Day 6 of the CAP Case-Based Scenario, we faced a simulated bomb incident that highlighted the need for quick, coordinated crisis management and staying calm under pressure. This led to the formation of an INCIDENT RESPONSE TEAM. Later, we participated in a staff conference discussing police extortion, which emphasized the importance of internal accountability and ethical behavior in maintaining public trust in the Internal Affairs Services (IAS). The day underscored the two key roles of law enforcement: effectively handling external threats while also upholding internal integrity to ensure public confidence.

Our station took part in an Internal Security Operations (ISO) mission to stop threats from Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) members. It was a tough situation that tested our planning, teamwork, and tactical skills. When the camp defense plan was activated during a simulated attack on the station, we had to act fast and stay calm under pressure. The exercises showed us how important it is to stay alert, make quick decisions, and work well as a team in tough situations. It really made us realize how crucial security measures are to protect both our team and the community.

Day 3 of CAP Phase 3 gave us a well-rounded experience of what policing is all about. It started with the turnover ceremony for the new Chief of Police, PLTCOL CHRISTIANSON BALTAZAR, marking a smooth transition of leadership. Then, we took part in a community engagement event for Women’s Month, which was a great opportunity to build trust with the public. We also dealt with real-life situations, like responding to citizen complaints about robbery and theft, where we learned the importance of empathy and being precise. In the evening, we simulated a buy-bust operation that tested our tactical skills and knowledge of the law. It was a tough day, but it really showed us how diverse the roles of the PNP are, requiring us to be both connected to the community and sharp in operational tasks.

Day 1 of the Cadet Attachment Program Phase 3 began with an opening ceremony, kicking off a hands-on journey where we moved from theory to real-life scenarios. We set up our mock station, WALANG KATULAD MUNICIPAL POLICE STATION, and later that evening, we dove into the "Riding in Tandem" simulation. This exercise really pushed us to think critically and work together as a team. It was a great way to experience routine police operations firsthand, helping us understand how important it is to adapt quickly and make fast, decisive decisions in real-world situations.
