𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Ensuring safe and resilient tourism experiences, the Local Government of Sogod through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) conducted the 2nd Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 at GV Hotel Sogod, in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Municipal Police Station (MPS), the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Sogod, and the management and staff of GV Hotel.

The activity highlighted the importance of preparedness in tourism accommodation establishments, strengthening safety protocols and reinforcing readiness in responding to emergency situations. It also promoted strong coordination among partner agencies and stakeholders in advancing a culture of safety within the local tourism and hospitality sector.

Safe tourism starts with preparedness. Through continuous collaboration and awareness, we continue to strengthen Sogod as a safe, resilient, and tourism-ready destination.
