The recently concluded National Arts Month Celebration—organized by Guhit Pinas - Southern Leyte Chapter in partnership with the Local Government of Sogod—gathered our talented local artists for a meaningful day of learning and artistic exchange.

Participants had the privilege of attending an inspiring art workshop led by renowned artist Dondon Bayawa, recently recognized as one of the best artists in the Philippines.

Local artists also showcased their talent through the Canvas Painting Contest, submitting pre-made masterpieces that now form part of our vibrant Art Exhibit, together with other curated works proudly created by our homegrown creatives.

The exhibit is open to the public, and all artworks are available for sale until February 28, 2026.

We invite everyone to visit the Sogod Town Center (Second Floor), support our local artists, and maybe bring home a piece of Southern Leyte’s creative spirit.
