๐กPOV: From a first-time solo traveller with offload history
Here are some tips that may help you to have a smooth experience at the airport.
1. Fill out your e-Travel 72 hours prior your trip.
2. Be at the Airport 3-4 hours (or mas maaga lalo na't first time mo) before your flight, this will give you enough time to do other things prior to your flight.
3. Check the monitors for your flight status as this will give you an idea if your flight is on time, delayed, or the worst, cancelled.
4. Once you reach the airport, pay for your Travel Tax for Tourists (yong sa akin kasama na sa ticket kaya hassle-free). Usually it is located in front of the entrance or beside the Airline Counters.
5. You may now proceed to your Airline Counters, this time you can check in your baggage and get your Boarding Pass (kahit nakapag-online checkin na, kailangan parin mag check-in sa counter ng airline kung international flight). Your boarding pass, indicates your Gate Number, Boarding Time and Flight Departure Time.
6. Once you have your boarding pass, you may now proceed to the Immigration lane. This is one of the most time-consuming parts, a combination of all travelers (Except Foreign Passport Holders) in one line. And wait for your turn. (2PM ang flight ko pero 7AM pumunta na agad ako sa immigration kaya kahit may kulang ang papers ko nagkaroon pa ako ng time na maiprovide ito.)
