Aside from the structures, lighting, and product display, Kubo Ilognayan of Surallah went beyond the competition criteria by giving visitors a genuine glimpse of the municipality's warmth and hospitality.

Visitors were welcomed with smiles and respect, treated to overflowing coffee/sikwate from the opening day until the festival's closing, delighted with surprise free snacks each day, and generously offered fruits and vegetables harvested from the municipality's fertile lands. During both judging periods, as part of the cultural performance, judges and spectators alike also experienced the lively "Bas-anay" tradition, the festive spirit of Surbétube–The Ilognayan Festival.

More than an exhibit, Kubo Ilognayan became a living showcase of Surallah's culture, generosity, abundance, and community spirit—proving that one of the municipality's greatest offerings is the warmth and hospitality of its people.

It's BANANA, OHLALA NIGHT!

Here are some of the lucky visitors at Surallah's Kubo Ilognayan tonight who enjoyed FREE Banana Brownies and Banana Bread, on top of the overflowing cups of freshly brewed Robusta coffee served throughout the day.

Come and visit the Bahay Kubo and experience the abundance of fresh produce, processed agri-products, arts and crafts, local delicacies that Surallah has to offer.
