JUST IN: ADDRESSING OVERPRICING IN PANGLAO

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Panglao will conduct a Tourism Summit.

One of the main topics to be discussed in the gathering is the issue of overpricing.

All tourism stakeholders, establishment owners, and managers are urged to attend the tourism summit.

The event will be held on November 28 at the Panglao Cultural Center.

When we started our journey here in Airbnb it was fun, exciting, and fulfilling. It was just an experiment til' we came up into a business. It was not an easy or just a bed of roses experienced yet we had learned so much.
Pandemic came, typhon Odette hit us and we've been in a roller coaster ride. After we got through everything we thought that was the worst and exaggerated. But no, still we are experiencing ups and down. . And here we are again no bookings, empty calendars.
What's wrong Bohol? They said due to overpricing, some says bcoz whale shark was closed, other says due to calamities, from earthquake to typhoon. Whatever it is God is in control. We may never know the answers yet, and for sure it will be revealed soon.

Still we want to be positive. We want to reach out to all government agencies under Bohol tourism , especially to our beloved governor Erico Aris Aumentado . Please help us recover. . We would really appreciate if you can investigate those so called overpricing here in Bohol. Looking forward for your fast action, all of us were affected especially all of us in hospitality business (who offers very affordable and reasonable rates.)
