THE QUEEN IN MANILA. The maiden call of the MS Queen Elizabeth was welcomed by the Department of Tourism (DOT) in Manila last 8 March 2016. Carrying around 2,500 tourists from the US, EU, and Australia, the visitors have toured parts of Manila and Tagaytay. More cruise calls are expected in the Philippines this year, as part of the DOT's initiatives to push cruise tourism in the country.
