Tottori Prefectural Museum of Art ～NEW ART MUSEUM OPENING IN MARCH～
The Tottori Prefectural Museum of Art will officially open its doors on Sunday, March 30.🎉🎉
The museum features a collection of over 10,000 works, primarily by artists with a connection to Tottori, both from Japan and abroad.🤩🤩
One of the highlights is Andy Warhol’s iconic Brillo Box, a masterpiece of American pop art.✨✨
In addition to its permanent collection, the museum will host rotating special exhibitions every few months, offering something new with each visit. There's also an on-site café and a kids' space, making it a relaxing spot for families with children.🙌🙌

The Wakasa Railway is a local line connecting Gunge Station to Wakasa Station, offering tranquil and scenic views rich in nature that bring a sense of peace and relaxation.🚂🌸
This railway serves as a vital means of transportation for local residents while also operating as a sightseeing train.✨✨
Wakasa Station, retaining its original wooden structure from the early Showa era, has been redesigned inside by renowned designer Eiji Mitooka. 💖💖
Visitors can explore facilities such as the manually operated turntable used to reverse locomotives and the water tower.
Even without boarding the train, you can enjoy the station’s modern atmosphere and exhibits, including the steam locomotive (SL).🤩🤩
In spring, Wakasa Station becomes a stunning photo spot as cherry blossoms bloom in full glory. The contrast between the SL and cherry blossoms is a must-see.

Autumn in Hokkaido🍁

Hokkaido has the earliest fall leaves season in Japan.
In the earliest areas, such as the Taisetsu Mountains and northern Hokkaido, the best time to see the flowers is in mid-September,
In later areas in southern Hokkaido, such as Hakodate, the best time to see the flowers is in early November.
Visitors can enjoy the autumn leaves for a long period of about one and a half months.
This month we will introduce autumn leaves spots in Hokkaido.

💡Recommended spots 💡
✅Daisetsuzan Asahidake (Higashikawa Town)
Asahidake from the air on the ropeway is recommended.
The panoramic view of the autumn leaves is breathtaking.
Best time to visit: Mid-September to early October

✅Hiraoka Jyugi Center (Sapporo)
The rows of maple trees lined with autumn leaves like a tunnel are a sight to behold!
The tree-lined avenue is surrounded by the autumn leaves of the nomura maple trees.
The avenue is about 200 meters long and looks like a bright red tunnel.
Best time to visit: Mid-October to early November

✅Ginkgo Banyan Trees of Hokkaido University (Sapporo)
The ginkgo arches that stretch for about 380 meters shine in golden colors.
The carpet of yellow fallen leaves attracts visitors.
Best time to visit: Late October - early November

✅Kasetsuen Garden (Hakodate City)
In the garden, many trees dot the spacious grounds,
Visitors can enjoy the beautiful autumn colors of maple trees and maples.
During the fall foliage season, the 100-m-long maple tree-lined avenue is illuminated.
