Day 1 – Cu Chi Tunnels, Book Street, Saigon Bus Tour, Café Apartments & Pizza 4P’s 🇻🇳

Our first official day in Ho Chi Minh started early! We booked a private charter to Cu Chi Tunnels via Klook, and honestly, it was worth it. We got picked up at 7 AM, skipped the hassle of commuting, and arrived before the big crowds.

After the tour, we headed back to the city and had lunch at Man Moi, then checked into our hotel to freshen up.

The rest of the afternoon was spent exploring Book Street and the Saigon Central Post Office before hopping on the Saigon Double-Decker Bus Tour at 6 PM. It’s a relaxing 1 hr ride that lets you see Ho Chi Minh’s famous landmarks, especially as the city starts to light up at sunset.

We ended the day at the Café Apartments, did a little shopping at Playground and Rubies, then wrapped everything up with dinner at Pizza 4P’s.

No exaggeration—Pizza 4P’s served one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. 🍕 Definitely lives up to the hype!

Day 0 – Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam 🇻🇳

We landed around 9 PM at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Immigration was surprisingly quick, then we withdrew 5,000,000 VND - our budget for the entire 2-day trip.

From the airport, we booked a Grab straight to Kin Hotel Thi Sach. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in Ho Chi Minh! Super comfortable, great location, and their breakfast was 👌🏽

After dropping off our luggage, we went out for our first meal: Cơm Tấm (Vietnamese grilled pork chop rice). 🤤

To cap off the night, we visited Ngàm Café, a 24-hour café that’s popular with students. If you love cozy, Instagram-worthy spots, you’ll appreciate its vintage interiors and adorable teddy bear theme. ☕🧸

Around 2 AM, we finally headed back to the hotel to rest before our jam-packed itinerary the next day.

Habang hinihintay ko sipagin mag-edit, photos muna tayo. Hehe.

One of our best spontaneous decisions was booking a weekend trip to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. In just 2 days, ang dami na naming napuntahan at na-experience. 🇻🇳✨
