🏆 ANOTHER MILESTONE FOR LGU TARANGNAN! 🏆
The Tourism Information and Assistance Center (TIAC) under the Municipal Mayor’s Office proudly celebrates the successful passing of the Regional Local Governance Champions (RLGC) Assessment held on August 26, 2026! 👏🏆
The RLGC is a regional recognition mechanism and evaluation framework designed to assess, monitor, and continuously improve the performance of Local Government Units (LGUs). It serves as a regional alternative and bridge mechanism while the national Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) undergoes structural recalibration and programming adjustments.
LGUs are assessed across 10 critical governance areas, covering key aspects of local administration, including Financial Administration, Disaster Preparedness, Health Compliance, Social Protection, Environmental Management, Education, Business Friendliness and Competitiveness, Peace and Order, Local Youth Development, and Tourism, Culture, Heritage Development, and the Arts.
For TIAC, this achievement is especially meaningful. The Center has been a consecutive passer in the Tourism, Culture, Heritage Development, and Arts governance area, reflecting the LGU’s continuing recognition of the vital role of tourism, culture, and heritage in the development and promotion of our municipality.
This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication, teamwork, commitment, and continuous pursuit of excellence of everyone involved in delivering quality public service to our community.
