Starting November 16, fully-vaccinated tourists visiting Boracay are no longer required submitting swab test, Aklan Governor Florencio Miraflores said in his interview on ABS-CBN’s Teleradyo.

“Ang kailangan na lang, kung kumuha sila ng QR code nila, ang kailangan na lang, instead ng RT-PCR test na nire-require namin, magsa-submit na lang sila ng vaccination certificate or VaxCertPH under the DICT," Miraflores said.

Required na ulit ang test para sa mga biyahero pa-probinsiya matapos bawiin ng Department of Health ang bagong polisiya nito para sa mga nakakumpleto na ng bakuna.

BINAWI NG DOH! REQUIRED NA ULIT ANG RT-PCR O ANTIGEN TEST SA MGA BYAHERO!

Ayon sa opisyal na pahayag ng DOH, epektibo pa rin ang IATF Resolution No. 101 kung saan kailangang dumaan sa test ang mga biyahero papasok ng mga borders ng bayan o probinsiya base sa ipapatupad protocol ng mga LGUs. Ito matapos bawiin ng Department of Health ang bagong polisiya nito para sa mga nakakumpleto na ng bakuna dahil under review pa umano ang bagong guideline na ito.

Ito ay matapos umalma ang mga LGUs sa kadahilanang hindi nila maayos na mamomonitor ang health status ng mga papasok na indibidwal at turista sa kanilang lugar. Madali din umanong mapeke ang ganitong mga dokumento.

Sinabi naman ng DOH na hindi nila nirerekomenda ang antigen testing bagkus RT PCR ang mas garantisadong paraan upang matukoy ang mga taong infected.

"IATF allows vaccination card as alternative to COVID-19 tests for domestic travel."

The use of domestic vaccination cards in lieu of COVID-19 tests for interzonal travel also applies to fully-vaccinated senior citizens. However, they still need to undergo health and exposure screening upon arrival at their destination.
