𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙪𝙥𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝟮𝟮𝟬𝙩𝙝 𝙏𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙤𝙣 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙁𝙞𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖 ||

Representatives from the Municipal Planning and Development Office, Municipal Civil Registrar, Human Resource Management Office, MDRRMO, Municipal Agriculture Office, LYDO, PESO and the Tigaon Public Market Office discussed initial plans and collaborative efforts to ensure a well-organized, meaningful and successful celebration for the community.

We are honored to be invited to witness this meaningful event, which aims to support community development and improve their quality of life. Pro Aeta & Hansel & Gretel Foundation donated an electric water pump to the Agtang Tabangnon IP Community in Eco Park, Coyaoyao, Tigaon.

The blessing ceremony was attended by community members, Foundation representatives, and PSU faculty and students.

We support the initiatives of both private and public sectors to help improve the lives of our community.

The Cultural Heritage, Events, Arts, and Tourism Office of the Local Government Unit of Tigaon, in partnership with Partido State University — College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (ParSU-CHTM) and Partido College/Graduate School, successfully conducted a two-part activity last May 6, 2026 at Treescape, Libod, Tigaon, Camarines Sur.

1️⃣ Post Evaluation for the Agri-Tourism Pilot Testing in Libod, Tigaon, Camarines Sur — Partido State University, College of Hospitality and Tourism Management
In coordination with ParSU-CHTM, a post evaluation was conducted to assess the effectiveness and impact of the agri-tourism pilot testing — reinforcing the partnership between our local government and academic institutions in advancing tourism excellence in the region.

2️⃣ Capacity Assessment and Training Needs Survey for Agri-Tourism Spots in Barangay Libod
Bringing together farm owners, PSU Tourism students, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), and barangay officials, this initiative assessed the current capacities and identified the training needs of agri-tourism destinations in Barangay Libod — a vital step toward building a sustainable and competitive local tourism sector.

The CHEAT Office remains committed to fostering meaningful collaborations that empower our communities, strengthen our tourism industry, and elevate the standard of hospitality and tourism education in Tigaon and beyond.
Together, we build a stronger, more tourism-ready Tigaon. 🏡🌾

🌿 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢-𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐤 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

CHEATO, in collaboration with Brgy. Libod and Partido State University (PSU), successfully conducted the Pilot Testing on the Agri-Tourism Trek last April 23, 2026 in Libod, Tigaon, Camarines Sur.

The activity showcased local destinations including El Salvador Farm, Seniorita Farm, Helen’s Haven Resort, Abaca Souvenir, Melv’s Berry Farm, VK’s Farm, and Treescape—highlighting the rich agricultural landscape and tourism potential of the community.

Graced by PSU Extension Coordinator Ms. Danica Faye Bigtas and Faculty Mr. Nolie Natividad, the event gathered Brgy. Libod officials, farm owners, PSU extension coordinators, tourism interns, and CHEATO representatives.

This initiative aims to empower local farm owners and residents by promoting sustainable tourism and community-based enterprise.

🌿 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 🌿
A productive meeting with key stakeholders was held on April 22, 2026, at the Conference Room, Executive Building, LGU Tigaon Compound, in preparation for the pilot testing of the agritourism trek titled:
“The Community-Managed Agritourism Trek in Brgys. Libod and Tinawagan, Tigaon, Camarines Sur as Tourism and Hospitality Enterprise.”
The initiative aims to highlight the rich agricultural landscape and local hospitality of Brgys. Libod and Tinawagan, while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the community through tourism.
This collaborative effort marks an important step toward developing a community-driven agritourism experience that promotes local culture, environmental appreciation, and inclusive economic growth.

We regret to inform all participants and stakeholders that the upcoming Walk for Conservation has been canceled. This decision was made to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved, especially considering the high heat index we are currently experiencing.

Please be advised that the road closure scheduled in conjunction with the event will no longer take place. As a result, there will be no road closures on the previously designated routes.

In addition, the Holy Mass will be conducted at the LGU grounds at 7:00 AM on April 15, 2026. To be followed by opening program. We invite everyone to join in this spiritual gathering.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation, and we prioritize the health and safety of all our stakeholders.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to conservation efforts. For further updates, please stay tuned to our official channels.
