CAGAYAN, ITINANGHAL NA BEST PRESENTER SA 18th REGIONAL TRAVEL FAIR SA COTABATO

Itinanghal na Best Presenter ang Lalawigan ng Cagayan sa Department of Tourism at Tourism Promotions Board Philippines Tourism Marketing Masterclass sa 18th Regional Travel Fair na ginanap noong Agosto 12-16, 2026 sa Alnor Hotel and Convention Center, Cotabato City.

Si EnP. Jenifer Junio-Baquiran, ang Provincial Tourism Officer ang nagbahagi sa presentasyo ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Cagayan at Cagayan Tourism Office sa programang panturismo ng probinsiya sa harap ng tourism stakeholders mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng Pilipinas.

Sa kanyang presentasyon, ipinakita ni EnP. Junio-Baquiran hindi lamang ang mga naggagandahang tourist destinations sa Cagayan at ibang mga bayan nito at ang likod sa branding na “Endless Fun, Cagayan.”

Ibinahagi rin niya ang hitik na kultura, tradisyon, at yamang kultural ng mga Cagayano na siyang higit na kayamanan ng probinsiya. Kasama rin dito ang mga best practices na ginagawa sa lalawigan, lalo na sa pagsasanay ng mga stakeholder upang makamit ang adhikain ng lalawigan na maging world-class ang standards ng turismo dito, at ang maigting na kolaborasyon ng mga tourism stakeholders sa pagsusulong ng sustainable at regenerative tourism.

Pinasalamatan naman ni EnP. Junio-Baquiran ang Tourism Promotions Board sa pagkakataon na maibahagi ang lalawigan ng Cagayan. Aniya, nagsimula ito sa isang pagsasanay para sa Tourism Officers ng bansa noong 2024 kung saan napili si EnP. Junio-Baquiran na isa sa 18 pilot graduates sa buong Pilipinas bilang Best Presenters.

Pinasalamatan din niya ang pamunuan ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Cagayan sa ilalim ng liderato ni Gobernador Edgar “Tatay Egay” Aglipay na nakatuon sa pagpapaunlad ng turismo sa Cagayan, at ang Department of Tourism Region 02 sa pamamahala ni Regional Director na si Troy Alexander Miano.

“Ikinagagalak namin ang mapili na Best Presenter at ang karanasan na ito ay isang mahalagang bahagi sa ating paglalakbay tungo sa pagsulong ng turismo sa Cagayan. Ipinaalala nito sa amin na ang pagiging bahagi ng industriya ng turismo ay isang patuloy na proseso ng pagkatuto at patuloy din kaming magsisilbi upang mapabuti ang ating mga komunidad,” ani EnP. Junio-Baquiran

Samantala, naging bahagi rin ang Cagayan Regional Travel Fair sa pangunguna ng grupo ng Cagayan Tourism Office kung saan ipinakilala nila ang iba’t ibang destinasyon, kultura, maging mga produkto at mga pagkain sa mga bumisita sa travel fair. Nakasama din ng CTO ang AZ Travels and Tours of Tuguegarao City bilang industry partner ng lalawigan. (Mia Baquiran)

Cagayan’s tourism story did not just reach a wider stage—it made a big leap and created a lasting impact.

The Province, through the Cagayan Tourism Office, led by Provincial Tourism Officer EnP. Jenifer Junio-Baquiran, was adjudged Best Presenter during the Department of Tourism and Tourism Promotions Board Philippines Tourism Marketing Masterclass at the 18th Regional Travel Fair, held from August 14 to 16, 2026, at the Alnor Hotel and Convention Center in Cotabato City. Baquiran served as Cagayan’s presenter, bringing the province’s tourism story to life before participating tourism stakeholders and industry partners.

More than a presentation, Cagayan delivered a visual and immersive showcase of what makes the province worth discovering and visiting—from its breathtaking destinations and vibrant culture to its local flavors and unique experiences that capture the spirit of Endless Fun Cagayan.

Every frame, story, and detail was carefully designed to bring Cagayan closer to new audiences and position the province not simply as a place to visit, but as a destination to experience, remember, and return to.

Developed by the Cagayan Tourism Office and brought to life through the creative direction of Mr. Barry De Jesus, the presentation transformed Cagayan’s tourism story into a compelling visual experience, capturing the province’s character, possibilities, and the spirit of Endless Fun Cagayan.
