South Korea Eases Visa Rules For Filipinos Removes Bank Statement Requirement Starting February 2026

Filipino travelers will have a simpler visa application process starting February 20, 2026, as the Korea Visa Application Center removes the requirement for three months of bank statements across all visa types. The move aims to improve accessibility for applicants.

Students may now submit either a school certificate or ID, while group applicants only need one set of shared documents. Employment papers no longer require an explanation letter as long as contact details are provided.
