IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THE AGE REQUIREMENT

Following our meeting last Friday, we have agreed to allow ONE (1) member of each group to be 30 years old or below.

For example, if your group has 4–6 performers, only ONE (1) performer may be 30 years old or below. The remaining performers must comply with the original age requirement.

IMPORTANT: The age requirement applies ONLY to the performers who will be on stage.

Your songwriter, DJ, musicians, or band members (should you choose to avail of the assistance of the latter) DO NOT need to follow the age requirement. They can be of ANY AGE, as long as the 4–6 core performers meet the required age rule.

JAPANESE INNOVATION MEETS MODEST WEAR

UNIQLO’s campaign brings Japanese innovation to everyday life with an expanded selection, including its exclusive modest wear collection available for the first time in the Philippines and exclusively at SM City Zamboanga.

Featured pieces include the AIRism UV Protection Hijab, Dry Inner Cap, and AIRism UV Protection Dry-EX High Neck T-Shirt.

UNIQLO’s SM CITY ZAMBOANGA branch will be opening on September 25, 2026. For the first three days of opening, the first 100 customers will be treated to a Cup of Coffee from TAZA COFFEE COMPANY.

Customers can also spend a minimum of 3500 to get a novelty item from Uniqlo.

As part of their initiative for community development, UNIQLO also broke ground for an elementary school for Subanon children in Brgy. Patalon as part of its brighter future initiative.

All trips to Sta. Cruz Island scheduled for today, September 18, 2026, have been CANCELLED following the advice of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) due to the recent weather conditions affecting the safety of sea travel.

The safety and well-being of all tourists, visitors, boat operators, and personnel remain our highest priority. We encourage everyone to stay informed and await further announcements regarding the resumption of island operations once weather conditions improve and it is deemed safe to travel.

Our balikbayans are the unsung ambassadors and cultural torchbearers of Zamboanga City. As such the Balikbayan Fiesta serves as one of the most meaningful components of Zamboanga City’s Fiesta Hermosa, serving as a homecoming celebration for Zamboangueños and former residents living and working outside the city and abroad to enjoy a night of singing, dancing, camraderie, and to reminisce about the past and talk about the future of the city.
