Pakistan third alternate CPEC Route to cut down 350 Km distance to China border.Federal Govt has released 45 million for Gorikot Astore- Shagharthing Sakardu Road project via Azad Kashmir.It will be new Tourism Corridor.'The new route, after crossing the border at Yarkand China, will connect GB's Shigar, Skardu and Astor districts to Muzaffarabad'

National Highway Authority (NHA) is working for Construction Shounter - Rattu (12.7km long) road tunnel. The length of road corridors from (Kel to Shounter) and (Shounter to Gorikot) are about 26.9km and 41.5km respectively. It will traverse adjacent to town of Kel, Lower Domel, Dhakki Nakka, Khora, Chitta katha, Upper Domel, and Chattian, Shounter in Neelum AJ&K area and Morcha Guzair, Mirmalik, Rattu, Nasirabad, Chugam, Rehmanpur and Gorikot in Astore GB area. The project site is approximate 65km away from Astore. The Route via Neelum Valley to Astore Valley.

Heavens Way Zipline Adventure: Promoting Adventure Tourism in Pakistan. Four young adventure-loving entrepreneurs from rural Pakistan started Heavens Way Zipline Adventure in 2018, with the aim of highlighting Pakistan as an exciting adventure destination.

The company has since completed several thrilling projects across Pakistan, including developing adventure parks in Peshawar, Karachi, Islamabad/Rawalpindi, and Kalar Kahar, and building one of Asia's longest, most daring ziplines (1 km) over KhanPur dam.

The team also inaugurated the world's highest zipline with 1250 feet of drop and South Asia's longest zipline with 2.3 kms of heart-pumping ride in Noori Valley, Kaghan. Heavens Way Zipline Adventure is showcasing Pakistan's adventurous spirit with their motto "Suspend your Fear!".

Flood alert🚨🚨🚨
Spokesman National Highway Authority (NHA) on Tuesday said that a bridge has collapsed due to flash floods near Batal, three kilometers away from Naran.

All traffic returning from Naran has been stopped. Tourists were advised to stay overnight at nearby places, said a press release.

Federal Minister of Communications Maulana Asad Mehmood has directed Member NHA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to restore traffic as soon as possible.

NHA staff has reached the spot with heavy machinery and an alternative route is being made to restore traffic.

A total of 30,245 tourists visited various tourist sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) in just one day to relish the pleasant weather.

As per data from the KP Integrated Tourism Development Project (KITE) that was released on Tuesday, 11,800 tourists visited Naran and Kaghan, 8,500 visited Galiyat, 6,000 visited Malam Jabba, 1,800 went to Lower Chitral, and 145 toured Upper Dir on 25 July.

Upper parts of KP and the Galiyat region have low temperatures in the summer and draw tourists from all across Pakistan.

Chief Minister Mahmood Khan instructed the KP tourism department last week to devise a strategy within a week for outsourcing usable rest houses and other properties that it had received. He also called for the master plan for tourism spots to be finalized.
