Promoting Heritage Tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur and Advisor to CM KP on Tourism and Archaeology Zahid Chanzeb have approved key projects under the World Bank-assisted KITE Project to enhance heritage tourism in the province. The projects include:

1. Upgradation and Installation of Specialized Museums Showcases: PKR 295 million
- Upgrade and install specialized museum showcases at various museums in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

2. Conservation and Preservation of Baho Dheri: PKR 45 million
- Conserve, preserve, and improve the historical site of Baho Dheri in District Swabi.

3. Conservation of Historical Buildings: PKR 33.82 million
- Conserve, preserve, and rehabilitate the historical houses of Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor in Peshawar.

4. RaniGat Archaeological Site Development: PKR 40 million
- Conduct conservation and development work at the RaniGat archaeological site in District Buner.

5. Takht-i-Bahi Mardan World Heritage Site Conservation: PKR 30 million
- Conserve, preserve, and improve the Takht-i-Bahi World Heritage Site in District Mardan.

6. Security Upgrades at Archaeological Sites: PKR 220.59 million
- Enhance security measures at key archaeological sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

7. Gulibagh Mansehra Site Improvement: PKR 35 million
- Conserve, preserve, and improve the Gulibagh site in Mansehra.

8. Koh-e-Suliman Development: PKR 155 million
- Development of Koh-e-Suliman in DI Khan.

9. Sheikh Badin Site Conservation: PKR 190 million
- Conduct conservation and preservation work at the Sheikh Badin site in Dera Ismail Khan.

These projects aim to promote cultural heritage and tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, showcasing the region's rich history and natural beauty.
