I have been back from Africa for a week now and I am still obsessed with the skies there. Here is an image taken before sunrise looking east towards the rising sun with the moon, Venus, Jupiter and Mars somewhat aligned. The moon and Venus are reflecting in the waterhole along with Marc who scouted out this place for a potential early morning milky way shot looking the opposite direction. Loved that composition too. During the day this waterhole, a depression in the rock, is frequented by zebras.

Finder’s keepers!

Chidrupa Reddy Nellore encountered this adorable Indian palm squirrel savouring the flowers in his local park where he is pleased to see that the squirrels and wildlife have been able to thrive well despite human developments that have changed the landscape of the area over the years.

“The Nikon Z 9’s viewfinder is the highlight, and you hardly see any difference with the optical viewfinder! It is that good! The second thing is the autofocus system for action, glad that we have 3D focusing now on a mirrorless system!”
